Session Overview
We’ll begin with grounding and intention setting, followed by a guided practice connecting breath to movement through a series of postures (asanas). Intensity will vary depending on the style and intention of the session. Each class ends with gentle stretches and relaxation to help integrate the practice.
How to Prepare
Set an intention for your practice (e.g., presence, clarity, calm).
Come with a beginner’s mindset. Each session is unique.
Avoid heavy meals 1–2 hours prior. A light snack is fine.
Please avoid alcohol or drug use prior to class.
What to Expect
You may experience stretching, increased energy, emotional release, or muscle soreness. Emotions may arise, this is natural and welcome. You have full agency over your body and practice. I will offer modifications and support throughout.
What to Bring:
A yoga mat is essential. Props like blocks, straps, and bolsters can be helpful for support.
Wear comfortable clothing that allows free movement.
A water bottle to stay hydrated.
Any desired props (blocks, straps, blankets, bolsters)
Optional: eye mask, journal, & pen
Please let me know prior to your session if you have any injuries or health concerns. Honor your body’s limits. If something hurts during your session, please communicate this to me so we can ease off or modify. Yoga is about connecting with yourself and trusting your body’s innate wisdom. I am honored to guide you in this practice.
If you have any questions or concerns before the session, don’t hesitate to reach out to Terrin at sauchaliving@gmail.com.
